adiartist event: HYPETHETIC (25sept - 2nd oct 08) 

Finally a week long event for HYPETHETIC has come to an end…
pretty sad to see our artworks been partially removed from adidas pacific plaza store..
but memories will remain for those who dropped by to grace our exhibition!
once again, A BIG THANK to those who supported ADIDAS, HYPETHETIC and the local scene!

for those who purchased and voted for us, a million thankssss!!!!
also to Saffry, marcus, angeline, jason, steven, grace and com… thanks for organising
and supporting the local street artists…!!!

It’s official ! We were invited by Adidas Singapore to showcase
our work at AdiArtist.

AdiArtist is a month long event in September which will showcase
works of Singapore based artists/designers. Each week starting
1st Sept 2008, two artists will have their own exhibition held
at the two Adidas Originals store (Raffles City and Pacific Plaza).
There will also be a live installation during the weekends by
the artists.

HYPETHETIC will be stationed at Pacific Plaza, Orchard.

On  27th & 28th sept, i’ll be customising sneakers “LIVE”

So do drop by if u r interested to know, how hypethetic does

their sneakers…and its our first time featuring our very own

artworks…

So mark down your dates especially all wkends of SEPT  and SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS!!!

 This Friday, Leftfoot Entrepot will be holding a midnight launch for the New Balance 576 China Mask pack. Leading up to launch time, New Balance Singapore and Leftfoot will be throwing a party with a sample shoe showcase, an opportunity to design your own mask, as well as a chance to win all four kicks from the China Mask pack. DJ Rough and DJ Ritz will be providing the beats for the night, whilst Jim Bean have been kind enough to spare a few hundred bottles of their pre-mixed whisky and coke. We are indebted to the lovely gents at the New Balance Factory in Flimby for knocking together this unbelievable, 1 of 1, pair of 991’s during Sole Obsession’s visit to the legendary Cumbria-based factory. In anticipation of the 2009 New Balance range, which is lead by the historic 99x series of running shoes, we have decided to pay tribute to two much anticipated shoes that are due for release next year. In view of the 99x series of sneakers for 2009, we chose the 991 model to work on, applying colours closely associated to the original 850 colourway that is also being retro-ed in early 2009.

Full croc uppers complemented with a colour splash of turquoise and pink nubuck highlights. The use of materials lend a premium quality to the entire shoe, giving it an overall subtle look from far with basic white and black uppers, but upon closer inspection reveals the lux nature of the croc embossed leathers.
